    Pod względem rozgrywki Hunt Showdown jest jak Battle Royale, łącząc PvP i PvE. Zasada jest prosta, na mapie pięć drużyn dwóch łowców walczy o przetrwanie i nie tylko. Na początku meczu każdy duet musi wytropić i zabić jedno z potwornych stworzeń czających się na bagnach, a jeśli im się powiedzie, otrzymają premię i staną się celem dla wszystkich innych łowców. Będziesz musiał uważać na siebie, jeśli nie chcesz skończyć w ich rękach, a tym samym pozwolić im ukraść Twoje pieniądze. Łowcy mają również zdolność widzenia w nocy zwaną Dark Sight. Pozwala śledzić cel, kierując się blaskiem. Ale uwaga, ponieważ Dark Sight ujawnia również graczy z premią na głowie. Jeśli tak jest w twoim przypadku, musisz być bardzo ostrożny, aby uniknąć innych łowców.
    W Hunt Showdown, zdobywanie doświadczenia jest kluczowe dla poprawy Twojej postaci. Odbywa się to przez linię krwi, innymi słowy, przez twój rodowód i jest wspólne dla wszystkich Twoich postaci.
